PennSTAR
Training
PennSTAR testing on-site training will include:
- Air line capacity
- Air supply CFM
- Air supply PSI
- Water and oil in air lines
- Air fittings
- Booth temperature
The PennSTAR mobile training equipment will come to your site to train your employees in two working sessions. One 4-hour session and one 9-hour session are required.
Employees must complete all 12 hours of training to earn PennSTAR certification.
PennSTAR training is conducted by expert faculty from Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Transportation Technology and Workforce Development and Continuing Education.
PennSTAR also will document painter's transfer efficiency and film thickness.
Spray Efficiency is the measurement of how much paint sprayed is actually applied to the part being painted.
